Work just 4 days a week, 10 hours a day, and have more time for what you love. Be part of some big boat building projects coming to Cairns. Great work, great life – let’s build together!
Key responsibilities:
- Fabrication of new boats and enhancing our range of both survey and recreational vessels
- Essential maintenance projects for ships & barges within various Cairns shipyards
- Fabrication of a variety of other projects including trailers
Skills and Experience:
- MUST BE ABLE TO WELD ALUMINIUM.
- Must hold a trade qualification
- Can demonstrate/showcase your skills by completing a weld test
- Uphold the highest standards of quality control and contamination control, ensuring every project is a testament to your commitment
- Forklift experience and licenses will be highly regarded
- Navigate through projects smoothly with excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team, as well as autonomously.
- Commit to a culture of safety, ensuring our workplace will continue to be one where everyone can thrive.
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Must be able to pass a police check
