AddressLocated at Yatala and Coopers Plains, Crane Tech Industries is a widely-recognised, reputable company engaged in sales, installation and regular maintenance of truck-mounted cranes from the leading manufacturers including Palfinger, Unic, Tadano, Fassi, HIAB, Maxilift, Effer and HMF.
Due to growth in our operations, we have positions available for apprentices and tradespersons at both Yatala and Coopers Plains branches. We are seeking enthusiastic, reliable employees, with genuine skills and interest in metal fabrication, basic understanding hydraulic systems & electronic systems & general mechanical knowledge.
For the apprenticeship role, full on-site training will be provided by qualified tradespersons, leading to a formal Certificate III qualification in Engineering. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, reliable employee with genuine interest and aptitude for the development of skills in welding procedures, hydraulic systems, automotive electronic systems & wiring, fault finding & general mechanical knowledge.
Key tasks & duties
- Quality metal fabrication for installation of cranes and other loading equipment to heavy vehicles
- Manufacturing and installation of hydraulic hoses and hydraulic equipment
- Installing electrical wiring circuits
- Installing power takeoffs and hydraulic pump assemblies
- Maintaining a safe work environment for all staff
- Supervising and assisting apprentices
- Hydraulic equipment repairs
