Our client is a locally owned company providing engineering, drafting, fabrication, fitting, machining, blast and painting, onsite construction, maintenance, scheduled services & breakdown support to the mining, port, water, defence force and sugar sectors with branches in Central Queensland and North Queensland.

Due to continued growth, our client have exciting new job opportunities to join their Townsville team with ongoing work and immediate starts available. With a range of employment opportunities, whether you’re seeking a local Monday – Friday local roles with immediate starts available. 

Available Roles
We are seeking the following disciplines:

• Workshop Boilermakers
• Local Site Boilermakers, Pressure Welders
• Site maintenance Fitters
• Local site Riggers and Trade Assistants
• Local site Blasters and Painters

Skills and Qualifications
The preferred applicants will possess the following:

• Strong Commitment to Safety
• Boilermaker or Fitter Trade Certificate
• Boilermakers – Ability to pass weld test in our clients Townsville workshop
• Demonstrated skills and experience in shutdowns/maintenance
• Ability to pass Fitness for Work medical
• Current Work at Heights and Confined Space certificates advantageous
• High Risk Work Licence
