Position:Boilermaker/Sheet Metal Tradesman

Location: Toowoomba

13  ROSTERED DAYS OFF PER YEAR  

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and assemble structural metal products, including mild steel and stainless steel components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Perform MIG and TIG welding operations with a high level of precision and attention to detail.
• Operate metalworking machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet industry standards and client specifications.
• Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and workflows.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Boilermaker/Sheet Metal Tradesman in the metal fabrication industry.
• Proficiency in working with mild steel and stainless steel materials.
• Expertise in MIG and TIG welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Relevant trade qualifications and certifications essential.
