We are looking for a Manager, People and Culture to join our Experience team for a 12 month fixed term period, to cover a maternity leave period, commencing in August 2024.
Reporting to the Head of Experience, this role is responsible for providing leadership, direction and management of CEnet’s People and Culture function having end-to-end generalist responsibilities for all elements across People, Learning and Culture.
This is a highly consultative role, providing advice to help drive and shape a culture geared for success. This role would suit a HR generalist looking for their next challenge. Importantly, the role has direct input into the values and behaviours that contribute to CEnet’s unique, award-winning organisational culture.
As part of this role you will be:
- Partnering with leaders in the business on all HR matters, including updating policy and procedure, system administration of the HRIS and succession planning.
- Proactively seek opportunities to enhance the culture of the organisation.
- Completing all end-to-end recruitment processes including all onboarding documentation and processes.
- Continuing ongoing maintenance of the rewards and benefits program for all employees.
- Conducting pulse surveys, engagement surveys and proactively discussing cultural initiatives and opportunities.
- Partnering with leaders on resource management and budgets, capacity management and performance concerns.
- Leading the Safety and Wellbeing Committee and proactively managing all safety concerns.
- Managing the facilities function for CEnet, including building management and office enhancements.
- Partnering with the Head of Experience, develop and propose initiates, enhancements and updates to the People, Culture and Remuneration Committee and Board as required.
About you
We are seeking a collaborative and resilient individual with a passion for people who will support CEnet’s growth trajectory. We are looking for someone who has the below experience and qualities:
- Sound knowledge of employment law, industrial relations / Fair Work practices, including award interpretation
- Tertiary education in Human Resources and/or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar field
- Knowledge of and experience in ELMO HRIS would be desirable but not essential
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to work autonomously and self manage
- Positive demeanour and a collaborative approach
- High level of attention to detail
- Proven active team player, team-first approach
- Ability to work within the Wollongong based office a minimum of two (2) days per week
