An exciting opportunity has recently become available for a well-presented, organised person to join the team at Canberra BMW.
If successful for this role, you will be an integral part of our customer experience with responsibilities including, but not limited to:
- Making service bookings in our Dealer Management System, and coordinating loan cars where required.
- Assisting with dealership’s inbound phone calls.
- Gathering information to pass on to sales, service and other staff within the dealership.
- Promptly attend to customers, answer basic inquiries, and where possible, refer to the appropriate personnel to assist.
- Provide efficient administrative support for the Service Department.
- General administrative duties such as distributing the mail, filing, and maintaining office supplies.
- Balancing the banking for the Service team at the end of each day.
- Ensuring we are capturing and entering customer data correctly and managing customer data in our CRM.
- Coordinating works in progress by liaising closely with our Parts & Service teams to reduce wait times for customers needing new parts.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
- An exceptional customer service focus with proven experience in a customer-facing position.
- Strong attention to detail, time management and excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
- MS office, data entry and general computer skills.
- Sound knowledge of telecommunications and administrative procedures and requirements.
- Ability to show initiative and work proficiently and work calmly in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant administrative qualifications and/or experience in a similar role.
- Experience using a phone switchboard (desirable).
- Having an interest and/or experience in the automotive industry is favourable but not necessary.
This is a full time role, weekday Mon-Fri.
