Position Overview: We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic Bookkeeper / Admin Officer to join our team in a permanent part time capacity. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative processes. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our team and contribute to the continued success of our business. It is possible that the position could be flexible with hours and we are happy to discuss how this could possibly work with the right candidate.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and collections.
  • Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Process payroll and maintain employee records.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Month end financial reconciliations and reporting.
  • Data entry, superannuation returns, PAYG & BAS preparation for external accountants, 
  • Order processing, invoicing, customer service and sales support
  • Handle general administrative tasks to support daily operations.

 

 Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping and administrative roles.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software (Preferably Xero) and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Strong English communication skills. (Written and Verbal)
  • Willingness to work as part of a team or on an individual basis.
  • A High standard of work, striving for continuous improvement.
