Bookkeeper/Administrator - Retail

Based in Myaree, our expanding state-based business has an opening for a full-time bookkeeper and administration professional with a proven track record working within the retail sector.

As the bookkeeper and administration specialist, you will work autonomously on business financial accounting matters as well as supporting general administration tasks as part of the senior management team, including:

• Budgeting, forecasting, and general ledgers
• Support our Tax Accountant in the preparation of GST and ATO returns in 
• Monthly and annual reports
• Cash, POS, banking duties
• Other administrative tasks, such as: responding to customer/supplier queries

Have you the ability to … 

• manage all general bookkeeping duties
• meet quality standards, deadlines and targets
• regularly report on your performance 
• find workable solutions to day-to-day bookkeeping problems
• communicate well with other team members 

You understand that to be successful in this role, you must …

• demonstrate a sound bookkeeping knowledge 
• preferred - accounting qualifications
• have excellent communication skills at all levels
• have good administrative and computer skills
• be energetic and motivated with a hands-on attitude
• demonstrate a strong aptitude for accounting
• have current experience in Xero

This role would suit an employee seeking full-time Monday to Friday (part-time applicants available 4 days per week would be considered). We are a  flexible employer; however, this is an in-office role.
