About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity to join Metcash as a Bottleshop Attendant role. This role will be assisting in the warehouse operation with a focus on efficient and cost optimization of facilities and resources for receiving, warehousing allocation of product within the warehouse and retail business. Supporting the general Bottleshop operational needs, through store presentation, customer service and compliance to all relevant liquor licensing requirements. Build strong working relationships with all our people and help foster an environment central to the Metcash behaviours.
In this Role You Will…
- Assist in the Warehouse operation, including, receiving, assembly, stocktaking and administration ensuring that corporate customer and retail store needs are met.
- Be responsible for assembly accuracy, delivery performance, operating at the required standard and receiving and dispatch accuracy to meet customer requirements and store stock weight.
- Compliance with OHS systems, compliance with COR legislation, ensure that all equipment is maintained and ensure warehouse cleanliness is to a high standard. (OHS, HACCP and COR)
- Serve customers & keep shop stocked up & well presented.
You’re Likely a Match If You Have…
- Previous capacity in a role within a warehouse
- Industry knowledge would be highly regarded.
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Bottle Shop customer facing experience
