A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR ROLE

Australia's HQ is based out of Melbourne; however, you can be located in either VIC, NSW, or QLD as this position requires travel. 
  
As our client embarks on their next stage of growth and an internal promotion, they are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic well-seasoned BPO Strategic Sales and Partnerships BDM, who is passionate about their field of work and technically astute. 

In the role of BPO Strategic Sales and Partnerships BDM, your exceptional sales and networking prowess will be the driving force behind our client's strategic business expansion. Your responsibility is to harness and expand your 'black book' of business contacts within the Construction & Engineering areas to elevate our clients market presence and cultivate new pivotal partnerships. 

Your efforts will be instrumental in solidifying our clients BPO’s offering here in Australia, standing as a flexible, safe, and innovative leader in the BPO industry, capturing new opportunities for growth and guiding our clients' global outreach.
  
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
  
Strategic Networking and Lead Cultivation

  • Cultivate an ecosystem of C-level relationships, transforming connections into firm business leads and sales.
  • Engage and expand your established network of decision-makers and industry shapers to open doors for our client's BPO’s offerings.
  • Strategically represent our client at select events and exclusive gatherings, amplifying their reach and forming alliances with potential clients and partners.

Partnership Development and Strategic Alliances

  • Initiate and foster strategic partnerships, leveraging your comprehensive understanding of market dynamics and our clients' competitive advantages.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align partnership pursuits with our clients BPO’s innovative solutions and market positioning.

High-Level Representation and Advocacy 

  • Embody our client's ethos of safety, flexibility, and innovation as a prominent advocate at Trade shows, forums, roundtables, and industry summits.
  • Articulate our clients value proposition, translating their services and capabilities into compelling narratives for a discerning audience.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

  • Valid Opportunity Generation - Number of valid sales opportunities.
  • Strategic Relationship Advancement - Development of new business, quantified by potential for long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Partnership Impact - Successful establishment of strategic partnerships.
  • Revenue Contribution - Influence on revenue through validated opportunities that have progressed to the sales pipeline.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS 

  • Industry Knowledge: The BDM needs to possess a deep understanding of the Construction and Engineering sectors, including trends, challenges, regulations, and key players. This knowledge helps in identifying potential clients, understanding their pain points, and tailoring solutions to meet their needs, or other sectors that could lend itself to instant results, and or transferable skills to allow to play in the construction and engineering sector.
  • Solution-Oriented Approach: Clients seek outsourcing services to solve specific problems or improve efficiency within their business. The BDM should be adept at analysing client needs, proposing tailored solutions, and demonstrating how outsourcing can add value by addressing pain points and achieving cost savings.
  • Strategic Relationship Building: Exceptional networking skills 
  • Business Growth Track Record - At least 3 years of experience in a high-impact business development or role in a relevant B2B or B2C sector.
  • Negotiation Skills: Negotiating terms, contracts, and pricing structures is a critical aspect of selling outsourcing services on the fly. As the BDM, you should be capable of negotiating win-win agreements that satisfy both the client's requirements and the company's objectives.
  • Self-motivated, Resilience and Persistence: Selling outsourcing services is challenging and may involve facing rejection or overcoming objections. A resilient BDM should possess the perseverance and determination to overcome setbacks, learn from failures, and maintain focus on long-term goals. We are not looking for a BDM, that must have their hand held and can’t run on their own.
  • Travel Requirement - Availability to travel as needed for business development and networking.
