The Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and dedicated Project Manager (Civil) to join our Projects Team in Blackwater for a variety of mine-site and off mine-site projects. 

Applicants must have previous experience with the following:

• Maintain project schedule, utilising Microsoft Project
• Manage project resources
• Ensure all quality, environmental, safety and other regulatory requirements of the project are fulfilled
• Track costs and manage budget allocation, including providing input into costings for further works
• Provide leadership and support to the Project Team
• Manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
• Provide updates/reports to client as required as well as WGQ Main Office
• Maintain project documentation and complete project close-out

In addition, applicants must have:

• Qualification in Project Management 
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar would be highly regarded
• Minimum 5 years' project management experience
• Background in civil construction
• Supervisory qualifications
• Standard 11 Surface Generic Mining Induction (or ability to obtain)
• Construction Industry Induction (White Card) (or ability to obtain)
• Coal Board Medical (or ability to obtain)
• Driver’s Licence

This is a Monday to Friday position, up to 56 hours per week; however, a flexible working arrangement may be negotiated with the successful applicant.  DIDO or FIFO is possible, as is working under your own ABN on a sub-contractor basis.
