Due to company growth and internal promotion, we are now actively seeking to appoint dynamic experienced Brake Press Operators.
About the role:
- Set up and operate the Brake Press machine
- Load tooling as per program
- Inspect metal whilst shaping it and make adjustment as needed
- Perform run, bend and forming operations with standard and custom punches
- Measure for quality against required tolerances
- Check final products to ensure no defects
- Monitor supply levels
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
About you:
- Brake Press operation experience - Trumpf or Amada preferred
- Capable of using measuring equipment such as vernier calipers
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Must have a ‘can-do’ attitude
- High attention to detail
- Forklift license desired
