South Australia's largest community organisation is looking for a special someone to join our ranks as Branch Coordinator and support the amazing work of our volunteers.
Supported by our Branch Support Officers, the Branch Coordinator will:
- Assist branches to provide, nutritious, balanced and well-presented meals.
- Assist branches to provide services within policy guidelines and procedures as set by Meals on Wheels.
- Supervision of food safety programs, including adherence to procedures and documentation.
- Train volunteers in the use of kitchen equipment, monitoring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Assist branches in preparation, cooking, storage and delivery of meals in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide administrative assistance.
We are looking for a Branch Coordinator who can:
- Demonstrate excellent supervisory skills and the ability to coach and develop people.
- Has the ability to maintain positive team relationships with volunteers, staff and other stakeholders.
- Possess an effective operational understanding (or ability to learn quickly) of Meals on Wheels SA operations.
- Has coordination, organisation, time management and logistic skills.
- Prioritise and organise work to meet conflicting demands.
