We partner with Trade Wholesalers who have a strong history in the distribution of specialised parts and tools who have successfully navigated the highs and lows of the national and global economy. Right now, we're looking for high quality hires for a number of appointments to bolster their team, across their corporate arm and branches. Here's one that might interest you:
Branch Manager
A privately owned Trade Wholesaler has a global reputation as a provider of choice for HVAC, electrical and solar related products. Serving trades, mining operations, contractors and construction companies, as well as mum and dad renovators, they have international buying power to partner with leading brands to their customers. Branches in almost every pocket of metropolitan and a large part of regional Australia ensures no customer needs go wanting. For this reason, we're looking to source only the highest quality Branch Managers or managers in waiting (i.e. capable 2IC or Assistant Manager) to further transform an already successful branch on Brisbane's southside.
While you will not need to hold direct experience in the fields listed above, your leadership skills and experience from a comparable wholesaler will be highly valued, alongside your ability to work to a budget, engage customers, increase sales, strategise and build and lead a successful team. You might be working in the automotive parts sector, plumbing supplies, big box homewares, or similar, looking for a new challenge, something this employer can provide.
In return, you'll be gifted one of the best performing branches in the region, which also has a strong record in recent quarters against an economic headwind. You'll enjoy autonomy, but be provided with operational support, as well as aligned sales structure and product/project teams whose experience you can leverage to further support your customer base. You will manage day to day operations, responsible for a team of up to four, working primarily Monday to Friday, with only the occasional part-time weekend. All up, you will be benefiting from a proven and stable employer in what could become a relatively turbulent time for those without the same footprint.
