An opportunity has arisen for a Branch Manager for Claytons to join our New South Wales business located in Seven Hills.
About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Branch Manager who is passionate about leading teams to deliver outstanding customer service success. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work autonyms to oversee all aspects of the Branch that deliver the company’s vision and strategy. You will be responsible for managing the NSW team, and to provide strong leadership & improvements to the relevant areas in line with the Financial Budget and KPI’s. The other key requirement is to develop great working relationships with our customer partners.
In this position you will be reporting directly to the National Operations Site Manager and will oversee the day to day operations of the branch, including the warehouse, logistics, and joinery and stone installation site teams. You will work closely with other managers and schedulers.
All product is manufactured in Melbourne and shipped to branch awaiting installation. Branch Manager’s responsibility is to ensure delivery is done in an efficient and safe manner to the site, and then installation is performed with the highest of quality and efficiency and completed within the time frame allocated. This role will have Warehouse/Logistics reporting to you, as well as Install Supervisors looking after zones and the Installers that fall in that zone.
Responsibilities included but not limited to:
- Provide strong leadership and communicate improvements to processes to increase efficiencies
- Provide leadership to ensure effective and efficient resources use, including but not limited to, plant, personnel and equipment
- Keep up to date records of customer meetings, tasks and actions
- Oversee work output reports and lost time, and implement plans to improve
- Understands and follows systems and procedures for the branch and on site
- Meet or improve Budgets
- Plan and manage to have the correct amount of sub-contract labour in the correct geographical areas to complete all installations of joinery and stone based on the monthly 3 month rolling forecasting
- Manage warehouse operations
- Plan and manage logistics to ensure all jobs are delivered on time
- Oversee all joinery and stone installations and that they meet the company KPI targets
- Oversee training plan, to ensure the company is well equipped with adequate skilled staff, allowing for absenteeism and holidays
- Mentor and coach the team to ensure the team is in line with company culture and goals
- Ensure staff are fully aware of their performance in output, quality and efficiency at regular feedback catch-ups
- Review and implement improvements against any gaps within the KPIs to ensure budgets are met
- Develop and maintain customer relationship with all stakeholders
- Work collaboratively and closely with other Senior Managers to ensure all business needs are met.
Experience:
- 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in MS package
- Management experience in fast-paced environments
- Ability to lead meetings, training, and presentations
Qualifications:
- Cert 4 Management Course
- Customer Service Experience
- Qualification in management and leadership is highly desirable
