Brand Activator - Jägermeister

We’re Jägermeister, you might have heard of us… We’re on the hunt for someone to step up their relationship with Jägermeister from just being at the bar to being a full-time part of the team who lives and breathes the stuff.

Obviously, it’s not just your standard office job, it’s a whole way of life knowing that the “Perfect” way to enjoy Jägermeister is as an Ice-Cold Shot. This role will be based in Sydney with travel mainly focused throughout the New Sales Wales area.

We’re looking for someone to help spread the good word of Jägermeister in all the right pubs, clubs, universities and anywhere high energy can be found. We want anyone heading on a night out to get the very best Jägermeister brand experience. If you see yourself as masterful, authentic, social and bold you’ve come to the right place! 

So, what exactly do we want you to do?

Spread the good word of Jägermeister. Above all else, we’re looking for you to maximise availability, visibility and sales of our iconic products with the right on-trade customers in Sydney. It means meeting Bar Staff & Back-Bar heroes and making a great first impression, over an Ice-Cold Shot.

We want you to help grow our reputation across the right local accounts while helping keep our existing customers happy, using your commercial flirtatious talent to help us win back any lost accounts and help spread the word and love. Make sure that bars and customers all understand what Jägermeister is all about, changing any misconceptions and educating them on why Jägermeister is best served ice cold at -18 degrees through conversations, point of sale displays and initiatives for bar staff. You will also need to set some time aside for being a local influencer in the on-trade world. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Working with the local Spirits Platform Sales Team & reporting to the Australian Jager Brand Manager, help Identify & develop opportunities to increase the awareness of the Jägermeister portfolio, with the intention of increasing sales and distribution according to relevant KPIs.
• Manage access to a range of supporting tools such as Cooling Devices, Neons and POS.
• Lead the development & execution of the NSW region trade education, events & brand activations in conjunction with the Spirits Academy Team.
• Form & maintain mutually beneficial trade relationships with new and existing on-premise (e.g. clubs, bars & universities/breweries) accounts.
• Timely and accurate administration, including expenses, calendar, reporting & CRM systems management.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• 2+ years on-premise experience (bartender, trade marketing, brand ambassador)
• Strong, demonstrable understanding of local on-premise operations
• Respected local on-premise figure with a network of relevant contacts
• Demonstrable strategic sales and marketing experience with a focused and passionate approach
• Strong presentation skills, both written and verbal with communication and relationship building skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills and digital marketing skills across social media platforms
• Demonstrable analytical and negotiation skills
