The Sony ANZ Brand team manages advertising and promotional campaigns across each of our consumer electronics products, working with our business units to strengthen our brand, inspire our customers, and drive business results.
In this exciting and career building role you’ll be providing vital admin support to the Brand team, while at the same time having the opportunity to develop key skills to help you progress your career, through ownership of some of our smaller product categories. After an internal promotion, we’re looking for another positive, proactive and customer-oriented candidate, who is able to juggle multiple priorities and happy to jump in and support the team wherever needed.
About the role…
- Ownership of the smaller categories of DSC/CAM and Accessories including A&P budget forecasting and reconciliation, requesting project/budget approval from management, agency/internal designer briefing, paid media briefing, POS development, and liaising with product team members
- Providing administrative support to the ANZ Brand team, including assisting with overflow of brand projects, covering for team members on leave, reporting and preparation of presentations
- A&P admin, including raising purchase orders, compiling proof of execution, and communicating with vendors
- Vendor Management, including liaising with Sony AP team and external clients/dealers/agencies, assisting with vendor creating request, educating vendors on correct processes to facilitate swift payments
- Financial admin tasks, such as assisting cost centre owners with maintaining budget/forecasts, troubleshooting and communicating between vendors and finance when needed
About you…
- Highly organised approach with strong attention to detail is essential
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Skilled across all MS Office applications, especially Excel
- Previous demonstrated administration experience in a similar business environment
- Tertiary qualifications not essential but would be an advantage
- Passionate about Sony’s brand and our products
- Experience with finance, legal/compliance preferred
