As Brand and Promotions Coordinator you will be responsible for developing and implementing Suncare’s promotional programs and strategic initiatives in order to build brand awareness, increase customer and staff engagement and ensure clear communications.
In this full time, permanent role, based in Suncare’s Maroochydore office, you will have responsibility for brand marketing, brand and design guideline application, and coordination of internal and external events.
More about the role:
Reporting to the Marketing Specialist, you will:
- Plan, organise and run external and internal Suncare events as per the approved Marketing Events Calendar.
- Develop high-impact digital content, campaigns and communications to drive business, engagement and increase brand awareness.
- Direct the design and production of high quality content and stakeholder communications including print, social media, website and other marketing channels as required.
- Contribute to the development of external communications for Suncare’s community newsletters, website and social media channels.
- Champion brand, design and layout for all marketing and promotions, including website, social media and eDMs.
- Upload content via the website CMS (WordPress)
- Contribute to the development of internal communications content for Suncare’s intranet site and Viva Engage, in particular, you will lead on design, brand and video content creation and editing.
What you will bring to our team:
As a customer and continuous improvement focused professional, we will value your passion and experience in implementing successful marketing and communication strategies. You will also possess:
- Tertiary qualification or relevant experience in marketing, communications, or related field.
- High organisational and planning skills including the ability to multitask under pressure and work on a number of events and/ or campaigns simultaneously.
- Demonstrated event planning and management experience
- Sound and applied knowledge of current theory and best practice in marketing, promotions and events.
- Sound knowledge and experience implementing key marketing principles and strategies.
- High level IT competency and computer skills, specifically experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products and Adobe InDesign or other graphic design software.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to manage positive work relationships with multiple stakeholders (internal and external).
- Photography and video capture and editing skills.
- Willingness to use own vehicle for work purposes, ensuring vehicle is appropriately registered and insured.
- Willingness to travel to Suncare offices and locations as required in the discharge of work duties.
Knowledge of MailChimp and Website CMS (WordPress) would also be advantageous.
