Position Profile: We are seeking suitably experienced and enthusiastic people to join our After HoursClinical Nurse Specialist team located at Perth Children's Hospital.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist - After Hours, in partnership with the Hospital Clinical Manager and afterhours Medical Teams the Clinical Nurse Specialist – After Hours is responsible for;
- The delivery of quality patient care to all inpatient units.
- Supervising the delivery of quality patient care, through developing standards of practice, implementing changes to clinical practice, staff education and initiating research and quality improvement activities.
- Providing a consultation service within their area of expertise and working collaboratively to improve the quality of patient care and promote desired outcomes in the patient population, which includes patients with complex needs, within the inpatient setting.
The Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) is proud to be the leading service provider for paediatric healthcare in Western Australia, as the State’s only dedicated health service for infants, children and young people. CAHS is made up four service areas: Neonatology, Community Health, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), and Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH). Consisting of over 6,500 employees, our services are delivered at PCH and King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH), as well as across a network of more than 160 community clinics across the metropolitan area.
