Join Our Team as a Brand & Strategy Manager!

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Brand & Strategy Manager at Melville Cares. This is a newly created position, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer. As the Brand & Strategy Manager, you will drive ongoing strategy and enhance the recognition of a brand renowned for its commitment to relationships, high-quality supports, and innovative advice. You will play a crucial role in supporting older people to live well at home. This position is also an integral part of the Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and grow brand awareness and reputation score.
  • Provide vision and leadership for pursuing new and existing markets and identify opportunities and relationships to increase the impact, revenue and funding opportunities that align with and build upon Melville Cares strategic intent and directions.
  • Provide advice to the CEO/Leadership Team to enable brand development and to meet the organisations’ targets across all relevant markets.
  • Represent the organisation and build collaborative partnerships and relationships across the sector.
  • Design and develop a customer journey map, defining each stage of the customer experience within Melville Cares.
  • Manage the engagement strategies of the client.
  • Collaborate with the People & Culture Manager regarding staff engagement to improve the overall staff and client engagement. 
  • Initiate, build, and maintain collaborative partnerships across the sector to advance Melville Cares’ strategic goals, in accordance with Melville Care’s strategic pillars.
  • Develop and manage Melville Cares communications and marketing strategy, to support Melville Cares growth and engagement strategy.
  • Develop and manage the Philanthropy and Bequests portfolio.
  • As part of the Leadership Team, working with key stakeholders to develop and execute the strategic priorities to achieve the organisations’ purpose
  • Translation of strategic priorities into our organisational story to engage and inspire so that each person feels a personal connection to the future plans and for external stakeholders to be aware of our presence and unique value proposition
  • Coordinate geographical expansion plans overseeing all activities and working closely with operations to maximise buy in and the delivery of services 
  • Prepare regular project status reports and present updates to the Leadership Team and as required, to the Board.

About You 

  • The drive to be part of an ambitious and highly skilled leadership team committed to achieving the Purpose of Melville Cares by balancing commitment to great care with strong commercialisation and innovation.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications. 
  • Demonstrated experience working in a similar role.
  • Excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise workloads and meet tight timeframes. 
  • Previous experience in project management including planning, implementation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate with and influence a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent computer and IT skills.
  • Police clearance certificate (less than 3 months old).
