The primary objective of this position is to offer specialized breach management oversight in Insurance, encompassing assessment, reporting, monitoring, and providing guidance/advice on incidents and breaches, ensuring compliance risk stays within acceptable thresholds.
Specifically, the role involves conducting Breach Assessments for incidents detected within Insurance, as well as aiding in their management, encompassing reporting, resolution, and ongoing efforts to prevent future incidents and breaches within the insurance domain.
What you’ll do
- Complete Incident and Breach Management activities for Insurance as per the accountabilities of Breach Management Team in the Breach Assessment and Reporting Standard in a timely manner
- Provide specialist monitoring and compliance advice across the Insurance business in respect of incident and Breach Management obligations and expectations
- Provide support for breach management and rectification activities to the Business Unit/ Function through the delivery of expert compliance advisory services
- Drive a positive risk and compliance culture within Insurance by ensuring Insurance Business and support teams to understand the intent, purpose and importance of effective and timely Breach Management
- Delivery of high quality and timely Breach Reporting to Regulators
What you’ll bring
- University degree in a related field (e.g. Risk/Compliance, Business, Management, Finance)
- 3+ years’ experience in Operational Risk & Compliance within Insurance or Financial Services
- Strong knowledge of the Insurance regulatory landscape
- Experience within incident or breach management roles
- Convey and explain information, coherently and confidently both oral and written
