The Role:
Cater Care Australia seeks to appoint a Breakfast Chef with cooking qualifications at our education site in Gregory Hills.To cook a buffet style breakfast for 140 students and assist with cooking 'grab & go" hot food for the canteen .
Preparing delicious meals for our grateful students; this role is ideal for anyone who wants to make a real difference to those they serve each day!
Public transport accessible and onsite parking available.
Roster: Monday to Friday 6am - 14.00
What This Role Involves:
- Preparing and presenting food for our students
- Stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking
- Maintaining a clean working environment
- Adherence to food hygiene & safety practices
- Providing fast, effective service with a positive attitude
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience in kitchens and food preparation
- Previous experience in school catering (desirable)
- Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate is an advantage
