We are currently seeking an experienced Breakfast Chef to join our busy kitchen brigade, working in Zephyrs restaurant. This is a great opportunity to allow your creative flair to shine, with the ability to create specials and unique menu ideas.

Position Overview:
As a Breakfast Chef you are responsible for supporting the Executive Chef and Sous Chef, delivering consistently high-quality food. Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparations keep up to date with the new products, recipes and preparation techniques. Shifts are typically 6am-2pm 5 days per week.
The successful applicant must have experience in the following areas
- Providing quality food and presentation various dishes.
- Fine Dine Restaurant\high volume bistro experience is essential.
- Knowledge of HACCP & experience with WH&S and food safety policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate relevant food preparation and service knowledge.
- A team player - available to work a variety of shifts including weekends and public holidays.
- Ability to work unsupervised with excellent time management skills.
- Qualifications to meet job specifications is essential.

- Projects a professional and positive image at all times.
- Demonstrates hygienic work practices.
- Organises time and work efficiently.
- Works under pressure without negative impact.
- Develops and maintains co-operative working relationships.
Mandatory:
- Must have a current National Police Check issued by Queensland Police or able to obtain one within three weeks of commencing employment- for all live on Island staff.
