- Measure and cut materials to fit
- Mix mortar and spread it onto bricks
- Use tools such as trowels, hammers, and levels
- Ensure structures are plumb and level
- Follow blueprints and building codes
- Inspect and repair existing structures
- Work with other construction professionals
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Communicate effectively with team members
