Renovision Masonry is currently looking for experienced bricklayers to join our team to work on various construction sites across Sydney.

About your duties and responsibilities

• Working accurately from detailed plans and specifications in order to choose the most appropriate procedures, materials, and dimensions.
• Laying bricks in accordance with design shapes and dimension, spreading mortar between joints and removing excess mortar.
• Repairing and maintaining bricks, cement blocks and related structures
• Sealing and securing foundations with damp-resistant materials
• Using hand tools, power tools and brick-cutting machines to cut and shape materials required for the project.
• Ability to gauge profiles
• Ability to complete brick sills
• Constructing arches and ornamental brickwork
• Measuring out build areas and setting out the first course of bricks
• Ensuring bricks’ alignment during the entire project
• Erecting and dismantling restricted height scaffolding, as needed.
• Ability to maintain a neat and tidy workspace.
• Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with occupational health & safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Ability to work in a team and work independently.

Experience and Qualifications

• At least two years of relevant on-the-job experience
• Must work full-time.
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Construction White Card
• Own tools, vehicle, and PPE
