- Market products directly to hospitals by organising appointments and meetings with Interventional Cardiologists, Cardiac Surgeons, Intensivists, Heart Failure Specialists
- Leverage existing accounts for deeper and wider Impella Therapy penetration and build relationships with critical decision makers and KOL'S in the assigned area
- Focus on establishing our brand and through training MDs & hospital staff about the appropriate use of Impella ensuring excellent clinical outcomes.
- 24 hour on-call duties to respond promptly to urgent situations in the operating room, working as a true partner with the hospital and surgical teams.
- Responsible for the planning and implementation of various marketing programs that support Abiomed's mission of increasing education, awareness, and adoption of hemodynamic support.
- Bachelor or advanced degree.
- Availability to respond promptly to urgent situations in the operating room, hence a 24- hour on-call availability is necessary.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in medical device with a long stint in cardiovascular space is a must, perfusion, interventional, structural heart, heart failure preferred.
- Experience in direct patient support in Cath Lab, Surgical OT, Perfusion, ICU, or CCU preferred.
- Proven track record of success, in launching high value therapies and achieving high growth rates.
- Established relationships/network of Interventional Cardiologists and Cath Lab staff is a plus
- Ability to roll up the sleeves and support physicians and patients anytime.
- Availability for emergent patient care required.
