Hired Labour is pleased to be partnering with Blenners Transport in the recruitment of this key role.

With depots across Brisbane, Tully and Far North Queensland, Blenners are the nationally trusted and respected refrigerated transport solution, working with leading retailers and well-known and reputable brands Australia-wide, with a strong emphasis on their customers and their team.

Blenners are currently seeking applications for a Brisbane Administration Team Leader for our busy Brisbane Depot located in Darra. 

Reporting directly to the Administration Supervisor, as one of the Brisbane Administration Team Leaders, you will assist in the leadership of the bookings, reception, customer service and dispatch Administration Team members in conjunction with our leadership team. You will be motivated to provide outstanding administration and leadership guidance.

Tasks will be focused on communication with customers on the day to day processing of outgoing orders and incoming freight, stock checks, and meeting KPI's daily.

As someone  who is comfortable having multiple priorities on the go, your key measure of success will be ensuring all the administration support needs of our Brisbane Depot are met, whilst modelling and leading high-quality customer service.

In this fast paced role, you will be responsible for, but not  limited to:

  • Leading, motivating and organising a team
  • Asserting high level interpersonal skills with an ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Day to day workflow of Administration Team including covering sick and annual leave
  • Raise and participate in HR / ER matters
  • Oversee and ensure all administration adhere to company policy and procedure
  • Assist in review of workflow / restructuring positions where appropriate
  • Conduct weekly meetings with team to ensure management directives are communicated & give team members an arena to discuss / raise issues
  • Administration of admin team rosters, timesheets and leave approvals  
  • To promote a safe environment for our team

Key role requirements include:

  • Minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience in a similar role leading, motivating and organising a team
  • An excellent work ethic and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good time management and organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work effectively within a pressurised environment
  • Great problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong investigative skills with a desire to find solutions and resolve issues; 
  • Competency in transportation management or logistics software (preferably Translogix) would be an advantage;
  • Willingness to learn new tasks and systems;
  • Reliability and punctuality 
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities;
  • Motivated and mature individual with strong commitment to the role.
