Protego Finance is an award winning, boutique mortgage broking business specialising in working with first home buyers and construction clients in the Northern suburbs. Coming up to our 5th birthday, we are looking for a vibrant new face to expand our team and assist with our continued growth.
We are looking for an office-based Broking Assistant, part-time 2-3 days a week. Days & hours are flexible, we’re happy to discuss working around family/personal commitments that you may already have. This is not a remote role, you will be required at our office in Munno Para during your working hours.
You will work closely with our experienced brokers to provide a friendly and personalised home loan service. This will include, but is not limited to, assisting the brokers with booking client appointments, completing loan reviews / post-settlement care, liaising with lenders/clients regarding outstanding documents and processing loan documentation (to multiple lenders).
To enjoy working in this role, you require the following key abilities.
- High attention to detail (particularly with numbers) to accurately complete and review loan documents;
- Great memory recall and good time management;
- High level of written and verbal communication skills;
- Proficient computer skills and confidence with CRM/file management systems;
- Experience and proficiency with Mercury Nexus is preferred
- Ability to easily adapt to changing lender requirements and to problem-solve solutions;
- Enjoy being customer-facing and helping people achieve their goal of obtaining finance;
- Recent experience and proven skills in a similar role are essential: lending, banking and equipment finance experience is preferred however experience in either conveyancing or Centrelink/ATO roles will be considered.
