About the role
Located in Belmont, you will play an integral role contributing to the design and development of our award-winning range of home designs, display homes, and granny flats.
You will have a natural flare for design and take ownership by guiding the direction on new projects, from concept stage to design development phases.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Create innovative and functional concepts that align with client needs and company standards.
- Produce detailed and accurate architectural drawings
- Collaborate closely with the design and development team to ensure a seamless delivery of new designs from concept to architecturals
- Take ownership and guide the direction of new designs
- Stay up to do date with industry trends, materials, and construction methods to incorporate the latest advancements into the designs
About you:
- Minimum 2 years residential architectural experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills
- Tertiary qualification in architecture or building design
- Proficient in ArchiCAD
- Strong understanding of DCP, CDC and council requirements
- Ability to think creatively to design innovative outcomes
- Exceptional architectural design skills and have a passion for the industry
- Meticulous, high attention to detail, and great time management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage well with the broader team
This is a full time position, Monday to Friday, based at the Montgomery Homes Belmont office in Newcastle.
