We are offering a rewarding permanent opportunity to a tradesperson or property maintenance professional to complete and coordinate repairs, maintenance and make good activities for our 15 plus Display Homes located in the Sunshine Coast to Brisbane region.
About the opportunity
The Maintenance Officer reports to the Display Home Manager and is part of the display home team. In this highly rewarding role, your focus will be to ensure our multiple Display Homes across the north region are maintained to the highest quality. More specifically, your responsibilities will include:
- Co-ordinate trades conducting repairs and maintenance at our Display Homes
- Ensure that maintenance enquiries are satisfactorily completed in line with Brighton Homes’ processes and timelines
- Ensure Display Homes are compliant including first aid kits, fire extinguishers and management of keys and access
- Arrangement of pest inspections for all Display Homes
- Weekly reporting on maintenance schedules
- Review and implement new processes and practices to improve efficiencies
- Liaise with other departments to ensure consistency and accuracy across all maintenance activities
- Co-ordinate Display Homes closures and make good activities and requirements
About you
To be successful in this highly rewarding role you will demonstrate alignment to the purpose and core values of Brighton Homes along with:
- A trade background, preferably carpentry or similar experience
- An ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to provide information and updates on maintenance works
- An ability to prioritise maintenance schedules and repair work whilst ensuring exceptional attention to detail
- A full driver’s licence
- Willingness to travel between our displays as scheduled
- A positive attitude with the ability to work independently or within a team
