The Role
Brighton Classic Residences Retirement Village, located in Brighton East is currently seeking an enthusiastic, committed and customer focused Driver to drive our 12- Seater Minibus on a Permanent Part-time basis.
In this role you will provide safe transportation of our Village residents to local shopping centres and return them at the end of their outing. You will also perform other ad-hoc duties as required, such as picking up equipment, booking vehicle maintenance and basic adhoc tasks around the village where required.
The Shifts:
- Permanent part time
- Tuesday 10AM-3PM
- Friday 9:30AM- 3PM
About you
As you will be working alongside our many residents, a customer-service focus is essential, as will:
- A Full Drivers Licence (Car license is acceptable)
- Experience driving a 12 seater minibus – highly desirable
- People transportation experience – highly desirable
- Eagerness to work with elderly people, and the awareness of mobility/health and safety issues that may occur, highly desirable
- Team-focused, with willingness to perform other ad-hoc duties when required.
- Ability to identify when minibus requires maintenance
- A genuine interest in assisting the elderly
Relevant internal training and inductions will be provided to the successful candidate on-site.
