Summary:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Maintenance Coordinator to oversee the management of our fleet of equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling maintenance activities, ensuring that all equipment and facilities are in good working condition, and managing maintenance staff.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all equipment and facilities
- Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities with maintenance staff and subcontractors
- Ensure that all maintenance work is completed on time and within budget
- Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment
- Utilise Service Prediction Tools to ensure equipment is maintained to a high safety, productive & reliable standard
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimise downtime and reduce costs
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues and address them proactively
- Manage maintenance staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Ensuring compliance with relevant statutory, legislative, OH&S standards and site policies and procedures
- Maintain workshop records, equipment records and registers in accordance with site requirements
- Work closely with the operations team to schedule equipment servicing and repair while minimising impacts to the daily operations of our business.
- Producing reports, presentations & statistics as required for internal needs & external clients
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in a resources or construction setting
- Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices and procedures
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication across all organisational levels
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
