We're an adventure-based tourism company delivering guests a once in a lifetime outback experience featuring airboats, crocodiles, helicopters and more. Our camp is located 1.5 hours' drive from Darwin. In this key role, you are the first welcoming face and personality our guests meet. You will collect guests from our four pickup locations around Darwin, greet them, provide them with a safety briefing and transfer them to the camp.
The Role
We have a casual position available for a BusDriver Guide to work with us and bring your personality to our team with the opportunity to work in one of the most beautiful parts of Australia.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Drive our AWD 23-seater adventure bus, provide a safety briefing and talk to our guests about what the Top End has to offer.
- Run two return transfers back-to-back from Darwin City each day for our Overnight Tour Group and our Day Tour Group starting from 6.30am and finishing at 3pm.
- Working Thursday-Monday and half day Tuesday.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all our guests from pick up to drop off.
- Be an engaging and friendly driver as you take our guests to and from the camp.
- Take part in onsite bus transfers at the camp for our corporate tours so you can get a taste of all the adventure out at the camp.
Who we’re looking for:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current HR Licence
- Current Senior First Aid certificate
- Strong people skills
- Ability to remain upbeat throughout the day
- Commitment to safety
- Ability to communicate effectively
- High level of time management and organisational skills
Those with a travel/tourism background is desirable.
