Des’s are currently seeking applications from motivated and customer service orientated people to become a
Bus Driver as servicing the Mannum / Younghusband area.This is a casual position offering 20 hours per week delivering school student during school terms.Des's Group is a family-owned business providing personalised transport for over 60 years. As a Des driver you will be able to take advantage of in-house training to gain skills and experience. Our aim is to make starting work easy and enjoyable.Reporting directly to the Manager this position will be responsible for the following:
- Provide and maintain a safe workplace in accordance with OHS policies and procedures.
- Provide a professional level of service in-line with DIT rules and regulations.
- Ensure all passengers receive a safe, enjoyable trip at all times.
- Deliver a level of service that exceeds our customers’ expectations.
- Ensure smart working practices are followed.
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and attributes:
- Hold a minimum Light Rigid driver license (essential)
- Have Large Passenger (LP) Vehicle Driver Accreditation.
- A proven safe driving record and a good understanding of Australian Road Rules.
- Well-developed personal communication skills.
- High level of customer service skills.
- Good record keeping abilities.
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively.
- Sound working knowledge of the local streets, areas and activities.
