A warm welcome awaits you at CDC Canberra.
CDC Canberra is fortunate to be part of one of the largest land transport companies in the world whilst still maintaining our unique identity on home ground operating services from Canberra, Queanbeyan, Yass and surrounding rural areas. By identity, we mean our people – a veritable mini-United Nations of cultures coming together to serve the community by proudly driving a CDC bus.
When you join our bus family at CDC, we will reward you with exceptional pay, perks, and flexible working conditions. Our Greater Canberra operations are significant and specially designed so you can optimise your earning potential while striking the right balance between work commitments and family, lifestyle, and other community interests. If you share a passion for driving, fancy a downshift from a stressful career, or need extra income as you approach retirement, you can join our team too.
We make the recruitment process easy for you. CDC will upgrade your C class licence for free and help you get your driver’s authorisation to carry passengers and operate our fleet of buses and coaches. As a bus driver with us, lifelong friendships are formed, and you would be a welcome and valued addition to our team.
We offer flexible work tailored to your needs.
Joining our professional and award-winning bus-driving family provides you with an exciting range of full-time, part-time, casual shifts and weekend opportunities. Our main depot in Queanbeyan is an exciting and vibrant workplace, a microcosm of energy and movement – people, buses, and coaches for public transport and major events, festivals, sports, and recreational activities.
A market leader in modern safety technology, CDC’s diverse fleet is well-maintained and air-conditioned for your comfort, enjoyment, and wellbeing. If you like variety, you can opt for urban, school services, charters, or a combination of all three to make up full-time hours.
Remember, if you have yet to drive a bus, we will pay you well while providing extensive on-the-job training to make you a very confident, safe, and accomplished bus driver for our company.
