Established for over 23 years, Aust Care Environmental Services delivers a myriad of natural area management services to clients including Local and State Governments, Public Utility Organisations, Private Developers, Mine Sites, and Private landowners.
If you are passionate about the environment and enjoy working in the great outdoors, we are looking for new team members to join our young and dynamic team. A range of positions are available for the right candidates with openings both North and South of Brisbane.
Casual, Part-time & Full-time Positions Available.
To be successful in this role, you must have the following:
- Physically fit and able to undertake labour intensive work
- Reliable and Hard Working with desire to learn
- Interest in Environmental Management and Ecological Restoration
- Drivers Licence and own reliable transport
- Certificate III in Conservation & Ecosystem Management or Similar (or willingness to obtain)
- Construction White Card
- First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Personable, with safe work ethic and strong communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Highly Regarded (Required for Team Leader Positions)
- Previous Industry Experience
- Queensland accredited ACDC Licence
- High Level Native and Weed ID Skills for the SE Qld region
- Experience & knowledge of Ecological Restoration principles and practices
- Experience & knowledge in use of handling of a variety of Agricultural chemicals
- Chainsaw Level 1 (Level 2 Highly desirable)
Positions paid at above award Wages, with Uniforms and PPE provided. Training opportunities also available.
