Our client is an established energy and utilities company based in Perth and they are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join their team.
The Business Analyst’s primary role is to collaborate with stakeholders from end client and related third parties to define and document business process and business requirements for change initiatives and projects including people, process, and technology.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders – Change managers, project managers to understand their business requirements and develop tailored reporting solutions.
- Utilise data to identify workforce trends and provide meaningful insights to support business initiatives.
- Develop and formulate a scope and plan for Business Analyst activities to deliver assigned projects on time and to the agreed standard.
- Share findings with stakeholders in a clear, engaging, and accessible manner, promoting data-driven decision making.
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of current reports and dashboards, making necessary updates as required.
- Continuously assess and improve data management, analysis, and reporting processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
Skills required:
- Strong 5 years + demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst ideally with Energy or Utilities projects.
- Experience working directly with key business stakeholders, including management at all levels.
- Understanding and experience of the full project management lifecycle, software and systems development, testing, quality assurance and deployment activities.
- Proven advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience and highly developed skills in business, system and data analysis, functional/non-functional analysis, data modelling, process mapping, designing business cases, functional specifications and use cases.
- Excellent time management skills, communication, and interpersonal skills
