The purpose of the Banker Digital Experience Tribe is to enable our Bankers to deliver great service to customers, through intelligent, integrated tools and processes. Bankers will become advocates of the solutions they use, reflecting the fact that we put our Frontline teams at the centre of everything we do.
This opportunity exists within the Banker Desktop-Service squad which is responsible for supporting key regulatory initiatives such as Open Banking and New Payments Platform, as well other initiatives which improve the servicing capability of our Bankers, which in turn provides a better experience for our customers. Our mission is to deliver the future of service and customer experience across ANZ and look to become the Banker's first choice when servicing and resolving customer enquiries.
As a Business Analyst in the squad, you will work with the Contact Centre and Australian Branch Network businesses in a cross-functional team delivering critical changes to the application, improving functionality for our Bankers and enabling an improved service for ANZ customers. Your main focus will be the elaboration of user stories by working closely with both the various business stakeholders and your squad as well as the leadership of initiatives. You will become the 'go to' person for initiative detail, business and Banker related information within the squad, and will leverage your past experience and skills to get the outcomes required for our high performing team. You will also be involved in parts of change management to ensure that implementation is smooth for our Bankers and that initiative objectives are met.
As a Business Analyst, your mission is to improve the customer experience by devising new and innovative solutions and services that provide the best possible value back to our business, whilst satisfying requirements which are simple and easy to use for our Bankers, requiring minimal training. You will be working day to day with a squad of Engineers, Testers, Analysts, a User Experience Designer and Scrum Master, as well as the squad Product Owner and Release Lead.

What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
Previous Journey Expert/business analysis experience, working in an Agile-structured technology delivery team or experience in a frontline project or process improvement environment
Strong experience in gathering business requirements, designing and documenting processes, as well as the ability to provide detailed solution requirements required for technical delivery
Stellar stakeholder management and influencing skills, including facilitating workshops
Ability to communicate effectively with good understanding of change management practices
Frontline Retail Banking experience/knowledge (added bonus)
