About the role
As a result of our continued growth and dedication to deliver on our customers' expectations around live data reporting requirements, we have created a fantastic opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our National Operations team. This position will play a critical role in supporting the business including:
- Maintenance schedule builds and associated resource and capacity planning
- Design of business processes that impact operational efficiency from field technicians to back office functions
- Data integrity for Finance and compliance reporting requiring reconciliation between internal and external business systems
You will act as a trusted partner and will support our wider team by focusing on the following deliverables:
Commercial
- Financial Modelling, reporting & forecasting
- Operational resource / capacity planning
- Complex contract pricing submissions
- Client specific Life Cycle Asset management analysis and reporting
Processes
- New customer onboarding, systems configuration and operational transition
- Business process review, documentation & subsequent improvement identification
- Data and document collection, cleaning and transfer design and protocols
Systems
- Data integrity - Life cycle asset management protocols
- Reporting reconciliation from multiple internal and external sources
- Identification, planning, testing for data or system automation initiatives
About you
You sit at the intersection of business, technology, field technicians and customers. You seek to use your skills to improve the business. Essential to this role is your energy, drive and motivation.
You have commercial instincts and high-volume transaction expertise. Experience associated with the services or engineering industry (Electrical, Fire, HVAC) would be highly regarded.
Degree in Engineering, computer science, mathematics or similar; ideally, 5 years plus Business Analyst experience in a high volume / enterprise business
Technology savvy, working knowledge of development environments, and understanding of databases, data analysis, and SQL queries. Highly skilled at navigating a complex environment with the ability to work in the detail when needed. Ability to logically work through problems and devise solutions.
Well-developed collaboration, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to form a connection with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. Passionate about achieving great outcomes for our customers.
