Working closely with environmental experts, you will support delivery of approvals reform workstreams, bringing project and change expertise to planning, guiding, and implementing new ways of working. You will have a keen eye on how initiatives can be translated into the operational world, considering risks, dependencies, and change management techniques.Approvals System Reform will be leading projects of work which will:

• Leading the environmental approvals reform, including recommendations identified by an independent review;
• Find solutions to complex statutory and non-statutory barriers in approvals processes;
• Lead change activities cross government;
• Support governance bodies and;
• Implement reform initiatives in areas where capacity is significantly restrained.

This is a Talent Pool for with multiple opportunities for full-time and part-time fixed term employment for 12 to 30 months, with a possible extension and/or permanency.Business Analyst – Level 5The Business Analyst is responsible for providing analytic support to deliver actions for the Approvals System Reform roadmap in research and development of environmental reform initiatives, development of key documentation, process mapping and progress reporting. Support the Program Manager to design and implement reform change. Working with a diverse range of stakeholders to support the achievement of project outcomes within DWER.Senior Business Analyst – Level 6The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for mapping, analysing, and re-engineering multi-faceted business requirements, processes, and efficiencies within a complex environmental approvals system, including consideration for how existing digital solutions (and future improvements) may assist in streamlining.
