Business Analyst - Data Governance

Senior Business Analyst with experience developing and creating Data Governance frameworks.

My client is a leading Insurance business with a strong presence across Australia.
As part of a key Data Transformation Program, they are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to play a leading role in the creation and implementation of a Data Governance framework for a few very important areas of the business that hold key information.
Key Requirements:

1. Data Governance Implementation: Lead the design, development, and implementation of robust Data Governance frameworks tailored to an organisation's needs.
2. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand Data Governance needs, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
3. Policy Development: Craft comprehensive Data Governance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the data lifecycle.
4. Business Analysis: full end-to-end project experience required. Must be able to scope, analyse, document and implement change from start to finish
5. Governance Oversight: Establish governance structures, including data stewardship roles and responsibilities, to maintain accountability and compliance with regulatory requirements.
6. Industry - Preferably from an Insurance or other Financial Services background
