The Opportunity
Visy Logistics, part of the wider Visy Group, has global logistics capabilities to service our expansive ANZ manufacturing operations and our growing 3PL customer base. Visy Logistics has significant growth objectives, and a key responsibility of this role is to develop logistics solutions to underpin our growth aspirations.
Reporting to the Head of Digital Supply Chain, you will be a crucial link between operational requirements of our customers and IT solutions, ensuring alignment with our enterprise Digital strategy.
As a Systems Business Analyst specializing in Global Freight Forwarding, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing and enhancing our current systems. You will be responsible for collaborating with our operations teams to evaluate current processes, identify necessary system changes, and implement best practices in system usage.
Your Key Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Process Review and Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains within the cargo management systems and implement best practices to optimize workflows.
- Systems Enhancements: Identify required system changes and enhancements to meet operational requirements and ensure that proposed solutions align with the enterprise strategy and IT architecture.
- New Customer Implementations: Manage the implementation of cargo management systems for new customers with customised configurations and ensure seamless onboarding and training to maximize system adoption.
- Training: Develop and deliver training programs for end-users to maximize their proficiency in using systems effectively.
- IT Support: Provide technical support for cargo management systems, including troubleshooting and issue resolution and assist end-users in utilizing systems effectively and efficiently.
To be considered you must have:
- Proficiency in CargoWise is mandatory.
- Proven experience in business analysis, particularly in the context of Global Freight Forwarding or logistics.
- Ability to translate operational needs into clear IT requirements.
- Familiarity with digital transformation and enterprise-level IT strategies.
- Excellent Stakeholder Management skills
- Project management experience is a plus
- Outstanding relationship building, coupled with exceptional verbal and written communication skills, will form the foundation of your successful long-term career with us
This role can be based in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Vietnam or the U.S.A. for the right candidate.
