Business Analyst - It

About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our IT team. This role will lead, plan and conduct the business and/or systems analysis phases of projects. The Business Analyst will also be required to scope, plan, execute, and finalise projects according to agreed deadlines, budget and quality, while providing technical business guidance in the implementation of enhancements to existing or new technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify, analyse and document project requirements
• Translate business requirements into technical requirements
• Work with developers to scope effort/timeline for documented requirements
• Validate the feasibility of business requirements
• Identify and actively pursue business and IT process improvement and re-engineering
• Consult with stakeholders to understand key issues and develop options for review
• Support user acceptance testing and conduct regular documentation reviews
• Develop and manage relationships with stakeholders and work cohesively with 3rd party vendors as required
• Organise and conduct post implementation reviews
• Provide leadership in Agile delivery methodologies
• Provide improvement opportunities that will lift team performance and ensure smooth transition to operational support

Required Skills & Experience
• eCommerce platform experience (HCL Commerce highly desirable) and/or demonstrated ability to work with various Retail Systems
• Understanding of modern development technologies will be desirable alongside experience working within an Agile delivery team
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced retail environment
• Intermediate Microsoft skills
• Ability to build relationships & work collaboratively with suppliers and peers
• Ability to work autonomously
