A great opportunity and newly created role in our Life Operations team, who are investing in the documentation of business processes to provide a source of truth for the Operations teams to reference when performing their day-to-day roles/ tasks.
You will be an integral part of our succession and implement and streamline processes that will be used for onboarding, cross skilling, quality assurance and risk management. You will also join a great team who enjoy working hard but will celebrate successes and know how to have fun.
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Documenting and mapping these business processes; whilst also identifying areas for optimisation
- Creating and operationalising a business process analysis cycle within the Life Operations business function; to embed a framework that establishes business ownership to utilise and maintain these process maps
Business Process Improvement and Customer Experience Improvement
- Collate and then organise existing processes and related collateral into a single repository
- Create the process documentation and workflow diagrams
- Work collaboratively with business stakeholders and our L&D Consultant to support the development of the associated guidelines, standard operating procedures, and training content
- Conduct thorough analysis and process mapping to identify obstacles, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
Strategic Planning and Analysis, Stakeholder Management, Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management, Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Produce Life Operations Business Process Map, which lays out an overall view of all processes and workflows
- Create and operationalise a business process analysis cycle within the Life Operations business function; to embed a framework that establishes business ownership to utilise and maintain these process maps:
- Create process templates for Life Operations, including resources to ensure consistent creation of process documentation
- Establish a governance framework and forum for the review and signoff of these process maps
Project management
Produce a work breakdown structure or similar summary of the scope of work required to produce a complete set of processes our Life Operations function, starting with our ClearChoice product and Voyager project. This will be used to advise the COO on options in relation to resources and timelines to complete this piece of work.
About you: Qualifications Required
- Tertiary or industry qualifications in a related discipline or equivalent relevant industry experience
- High-level proficiency in MS Visio, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
About you: Attributes or Skills Required
- 5 years’ experience as a business process analyst
- Proficiency in business process analysis and process design
- Proficiency in testing the business process end to end, both in IT systems and off system process steps
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Effective analytical, problem solving and decision-making capabilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders etc,
- Ability to manage risks and implementing quality assurance
- Strong negotiation skills
- Results oriented
- Project management (desirable)
