The Opportunity:
Our client is seeking a Business Analyst to join their Finance Solutions team. The team is responsible for providing Finance-related advisory services and solution support across the company.
The Business Analyst will work within the Finance division to support and maintain our client's Finance applications, enhance and deliver process improvements, reporting and analytics solutions, financial reporting governance and technical accounting support across the organisation.
The Business Analyst's role is to facilitate and support the business in the design, remediation, and documentation of business processes, as well as coaching to enable employees to maintain a continuous improvement culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish, maintain and improve policies, procedures, work process, internal controls, systems
- Build and maintain key relationships across our client and Finance with key department heads particularly relating to those where business processes impact Finance.
- Participate in supporting business analysis activities such as interviewing, requirements gathering, stakeholder mapping, data modelling, benefit identification, scenario and use case planning.
- Co-ordinate the implementation of new/updated business processes and supporting the appropriate communication of changes to relevant stakeholders.
- Facilitate requirements gathering, process design, and process mapping workshops to elicit process details with teams.
- Build off the established repository to develop and assist Finance to store and track their process maps, improvement activities, and associated KPI and business reporting.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business/Finance or equivalent relevant industry qualifications.
- Demonstrated exposure to a broad range of operational business processes.
- Established expertise in process mapping/modelling techniques/continuous improvement.
- Skilled in the use of process mapping software (e.g., MS Visio).
- Expertise in building and deploying process/ operational excellence frameworks including Process Frameworks/Maps, Operations Manuals, Procedures, etc.
- Experience in project management and delivery of business process redesign and implementation.
