About the role:
An exciting and new opportunity to Origin’s People & Culture team as our Business Analyst, is now available. The focus for the role will be to drive the end-to-end delivery across the P&C Pay & Leave Services, associated processes, and Payroll/Time & Attendance systems. Working with Service Owners, Vendors, Technical Solution Designers and SME’s to deliver compliance, vendor enforced changes, improvements and access security changes whilst maintaining the integrity of the production/BAU environment.
Your responsibilities include:
Monitoring and manage ServiceNow requests raised for Time & Leave / Payroll and IR systems/processes.
Provide first line support for and troubleshoot Pay & Time system or process related issues.
Work with Payroll and other P&C team members to understand Time & Leave and Payroll system or process issues raised and collect evidence.
Work with technical or process experts to determine root cause of issue raised and identify potential solution/s
Manage solution implementation and releases in scheduled sprints in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Analyse business requirements and translate into system requirements.
Plan and conduct Functional Testing, UAT (User Acceptance and Regression Testing) and PVT (Production Verification Testing)
Identify and implement ongoing process/system improvement and strategic improvement in collaboration with BPO and other stakeholders.
What you will bring:
You will have experience with Payroll/Time & Attendance operations, systems, and processes, with demonstrated exposure in Exposure to HR/IR processes and principles. With a passion for prioritisation, planning and organisation to meet the requirements.
You will also have;
Experience in roles such as Business Analyst, HR Analyst, Time & Attendance or Payroll Analyst
Demonstrated ability to use a structured yet flexible approach to problem solving.
Ability to draw out requirements from business users and work with technical experts to translate into workable system solutions.
Understanding of software bug fix/enhancement solution development and implementation processes
Strong excel skills.
Ability to understand systems and processes quickly both conceptually and practically.
Strong stakeholder communication and engagement skills
Works with a wide variety of people in a patient, open and communicative way
Proactive, takes initiative and has the ability to flex and adapt as priorities change.
