Hays Recruitment is currently partnering with the Northern Territory's largest utility corporation to identify an experienced Business Analyst / Technical Writer to join their project team as soon as possible.
Your new role
As a successful candidate, you will be supporting the project's implementation and lead in the execution of the project plan, delivery initiatives and will support the development, review, and re-development of processes, work instructions, and templates required to deliver the refreshed project management documentation that underpins the establishment of the project office. Your role will play a key part in supporting the corporation's project team to ensure the projects adhere to the corporation's standards, procedures, and governance of effective process design. The focus of business analysis will include process, procedures, work instructions, document management, and structure and roles.
What you'll need to succeed
Essential:
- Ability to prepare well written, clear technical guides for a business audience
- Ability to analyse, synthesise, and communicate technical information and data
- Ability to produce high quality business analysis documentation (accurate, timely, user-friendly)
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills and ability to rapidly develop rapport with stakeholder groups
- Ability to facilitate stakeholder workshops for discovery and process mapping
- Ability to work autonomously and self-manage workload and priorities to meet deadlines
Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in producing high quality written material in plain English for business users
- Proven experience process mapping as-is / to-be business processes
- Demonstrated experience managing business stakeholders and running workshops
Desirable:
- Utility industry experience

- Domestic allowances and travel reimbursements are provided for candidates who are travelling to Darwin for work purposes.

- Interstate applicants are required to travel to Darwin at least one week per month.
