Overview:
The Business Change Consultant uses specific subject matter expertise and knowledge to actively engage stakeholders and ensure successful adoption of the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
The Business Change Consultant works as part of a team with other Business Change Consultants and Project staff with particular subject matter expertise and is accountable for taking a senior leadership role in the Project and within this context liaising closely and regularly with staff working in Patient Administration environments across SA Health in relation to the EMR Project. The incumbent is a conduit for promotion and communication of information and key decisions related to system design, build and roll out to stakeholders, as well as feeding back information from key stakeholders to the EMR Project executive.
The Business Change Consultant is a change champion for the Project within their particular area of professional expertise. Their role is to apply their knowledge in a particular discipline or topic area and in addition their knowledge of SA Health to assist in driving successful adoption of the EMR. The Business Change Consultant facilitates and reinforces clear and early communication of relevant timeframes and expectations in relation to adoption across the Patient Administration community.
The position is responsible for providing advice regarding the development or amendment of SA Health operational policies to support new EMR related processes and work practices.

Criminal History Screening Requirement
- A National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving 'Unsupervised Contact with Vulnerable Groups' is required for this position (E.g. aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients
- A DHS 'Working With Children Check' (WWCC) is required for this position
Immunisation Risk for this position is Category B (indirect contact with blood or body substances)
SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
Special Conditions
- Work outside of normal business hours as part of a roster during specific periods will be required.
- Some state-wide travel may be required.
