The role:
Based at our Adelaide CBD office and reporting to the Group Financial Controller you will play a pivotal role in undertaking the general accounting and finance processes for the Group. Your role will include:
- oversight of the accounts receivable and accounts payable functions;
- ensuring accurate reconciliations (including Statutory Trust Account reconciliations) are performed in a timely manner;
- liaising with external accountants for lodgement of statutory and taxation requirements;
- end to end management of the payroll process, including EOM and EOFY reconciliation and reporting;
- maintaining inter-company accounts and records;
- preparing monthly financial statements; and
- recommendations on the continuous improvement of financial business operations, systems and processes.
As a valued member of the team, you will have:
- experience in running payroll;
- preparation of annual financial statements, budgets, Statutory Trust Accounts, management reports and audit documentation;
- demonstrated proficiency in using MYOB and/or Xero;
- outstanding communication and interpersonal skills;
- strong business acumen and analytical abilities;
- the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines; and the
- enthusiasm and drive to enjoy and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
