About the role

Permanent full time opportunity to manage the development of an HHS-wide Business Continuity program, in accordance with relevant legislation, international standards.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Develop and maintain the Metro North-level Business Continuity Management (BCM) doctrine including the Metro North BCM framework, business impact analysis, plan and supporting incident management arrangements and systems.
  • Facilitate Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Business Continuity Plans (BCP) workshops for Metro North critical business areas in conjunction with service delivery leads.
  • Maintain sound knowledge of Business Continuity arrangements, operational risk management practices, organisational resilience, including associated methodologies ensuring compliance with relevant policy, standards and legislative requirements.
  • Provide expert technical advice and internal advisory service to business units on Business Continuity to support the management of BCM programs and the development and completion of BIAs and BCPs at all levels of the organisation.
  • Ensure the HHS has an integrated approach to BCM which is incorporated into the HHS business planning process and integrated with Metro North Health risk management and emergency management frameworks, processes and plans.
